The tradition of Lyon floral textile design.

This collection is part of a well-established history of Lyon, since the flower class in School of Fine Arts was settled in order to train silk designers, for nearly 200 years.

The patterns that we delicately create by hand, very often with gouache or watercolor, perpetuate this historical know-how.

Our workshops are located nearby the Jardin des Plantes, the first location of Lyon's botanical garden which subsequently became "Jardin de l'Impératrice", in homage to Joséphine de Beauharnais, Tête d'Or park and the Museum of Fine Arts where floral painting was taught... so many sources of inspiration from a bygone era which permeate our work.

From this history and tradition, the Botanist draws its richness.
