Inspiration

Since antiquity, wisteria has been a constant inspiration for poets and artists. Their intertwining creepers are a symbol of powerful love and the fragrance of their cascading floral clusters heralds the arrival of summer. Coming from Asia, it evokes a certain nostalgia and the passing of time. They are immortalized in Monet's paintings and still bloom to this day on the vine of the small Japanese bridge in the Giverny garden.
