Colette Green & Pink – Stripes – Fabric by the meter
Collection TraditionOn Velvet or Vosges canvas woven in France
Inspiration
The mental landscape summoned here is that of the rich universe of the writer Sidonie Gabrielle Colette. Our eponymous creation translates in image and color this complex and captivating figure of literature, whose thousand lives have crossed the world of music hall and dance, the written press and even music. A paragon of freedom and creativity but also deeply linked to her Burgundian roots, a poltergeist full of malice and a robust earthling anchored in nature and its multiple beauties, the figure of Colette permeates this model which will immerse you in the reminiscences of a bygone era. but whose clever mix of fantasy and freedom, modernity and iconoclastic character continue to be a source of inspiration. In the Tradition collection, the Colette fabric occupies a special place because of its ambivalent aesthetic whatever its version: stripes with subtle colored contrasts, Chocolate, Pink Orange.... or an opposition of geometric and plant patterns, mixing the false rigor from the straight line to the undulation of imaginary, sinuous and dancing flowers echoing the forms dear to the Art Deco style. A set of patterns to coordinate as you wish.

High resistance to abrasion, for durable, high-quality furnishing textiles
Our textile products are tested using the Martindale , which allows us to evaluate the abrasion resistance of a fabric over time. This is particularly useful for choosing a fabric that will be used often: armchair seats, sofa covers, cushions, etc. This test is expressed in number of revolutions (the Martindale machine rotates while rubbing the fabric), and for example, the French furniture standard is 10,000 Martindale revolutions for sofa coverings.
