Le Canut et les Gones - Origin
Collection Tradition"Le Canut et les Gones" is a reissue work © Le Presse Papier.

Inspiration
A true landmark on Lyon's Croix-Rousse hill, the restaurant Le Canut et les Gones has been shaping an atypical gastronomic landscape for thirty years. Skillfully blending its roots in Lyonnais tradition, a twist with a Japanese chef, a love of quality craftsmanship, and a sense of conviviality.
Its unique decor, made up of carefully sourced and chosen objects, its Formica bar, its numerous clocks, its wallpaper that adorns the walls make it a timeless, warm place full of stories.
We are very excited to be working on the re-edition of the original wallpaper, installed around 1969 and deliberately preserved by Franck Blanc, owner of Canut et les Gones when it opened in 1994. It has become one of the markers of the restaurant's identity.
