Inspiration
This model is created using both pencil and gouache. Inspired by the Orientalists, 19th-century traveling painters enamored with the beauties of the South and fond of depicting deserts, oases, and lush vegetation in warm tones, Lotus Agra invites us on a romantic and exotic stroll.
The lotus flowers, colored in shades of ochre and sienna, evoke a breath of fresh air from the desert, creating a refined and intimate atmosphere, while in the background, the silhouette of the Taj Mahal adds an even more complete sense of escape. The linen version features a light background that provides a more striking contrast to the floral motif. You can find instructions for installing this design in this article.
