Inspiration
This model is made in both pencil and gouache. Inspired by orientalists, traveling painters of the 19th century who were fond of the beauties of the South and loved to represent deserts, oases and lush vegetation in warm tones, Lotus Agra invites us on a romantic and exotic walk.
The Lotus flowers colored in shades of Ocher and Sienna of Orange seem to bring a breeze from the sand and create a refined and cozy atmosphere while in the background we can see the silhouette of the Taj-Mahal for an even more complete change of scenery. The Linen version offers a light background which contrasts more strongly with the plant motif. You will find the installation of the model in this article .
