French ecological wallpaper
Nature is an endless source of inspiration, and you'll find it reflected in many of our products, such as our floral wallpapers. It's therefore essential for us to minimize our environmental impactwhile, of course, maintaining the highest print quality. Discover in detail how we work towards this goal through various approaches.
A responsible choice of raw materials:
Our wallpapers are printed on two recyclable : textured non-woven fabric with a linen look, and smooth, matte non-woven fabric without PVC. Both offer excellent technical qualities, allowing for very high-precision printing with solvent-free inks, as well as high durability and professional-level ease of installation. These two materials are manufactured in England and Germany, guaranteeing compliance with European environmental and social standards, as well as reasonable transport distances.
Non-woven matte and smooth, in particular, is a quality wallpaper free of PVC, ideal for use as wallpaper in a bedroom for example.
Printing is done on high-precision machines using water-based, solvent-free, and odorless inks. This also allows us to work comfortably without the need for special ventilation. These inks are UL ECOLOGO® and UL GREENGUARD GOLD certified.

Recyclability:
All parts of the printing process are recycled (ink cartridges, print heads, paper, cardboard)
Energy :
Le Presse Papier has chosen a 100% Green local energy supplier, renewable energy produced by small installations with respect for the environment.
Print on demand:
For various reasons, we only print on demand. This practice allows us to guarantee optimal quality and offer unique wallpapers at reasonable prices. From an environmental perspective, it also avoids the waste of unsold production that some generalists experience, as well as the maintenance of a warehouse (particularly in terms of energy). Note that we still maintain very fast production times (manufacturing within 24 to 72 hours of ordering).
In addition, we print our 62cm strips on 127cm rolls, allowing us to significantly reduce paper waste by losing only 3cm of recyclable material, which remains necessary for printing margins and for a perfect cut.
Our production management is certified Imprim'vert:
Our printing workshop is Imprim'Vert certified, a benchmark in the printing industry that guarantees responsible management of our production. To obtain this label, we must comply with the following criteria:
– Dispose of our hazardous waste (packaging, rags, ink residues, etc., as well as electrical and electronic waste) in a compliant manner.
– Secure the storage of hazardous liquids (to prevent any accidental spills).
– Do not use toxic products
. – Raise awareness among our staff and customers about environmental responsibility
. – Monitor our energy consumption quarterly.
