Hotel Royan - Rouge
"Hotel Royan" is an original creation © Le Presse Papier.
Inspiration
With its repetition of more or less thick and irregular staggered lines, "Hotel Royan" echoes the aesthetics deployed in the carpets of the 1930s and a nod to the colourful work of Sonia Delaunay. With its flat red colour, this variation combines energy and elegance. The motif takes its name from the town of Royan, which was totally destroyed after the Second World War and subsequently became a testing ground for architecture in the 1950s.
