Betty Page – BlueCollection Mo-Jazz
“Betty Page” is an original creation signed © Le Presse Papier .
Our Betty Page model revisits the leopard pattern. Crossing the ages since Greek Antiquity, this animal print, an attribute of Dionysus and his Bacchantes, became characteristic of feminine elegance and luxury in the 1920s.
Halfway through the 20th century, with Betty Page, the eponym of our creation, a distant descendant of the companions of Bacchus, known for her naked photos, dressed in a simple leopard loincloth and surrounded by cheetahs, this print became emblematic of the 50s pin up.
At the same time, it has a more “French chic” connotation; Christian Dior declined it as a coat in the 1950s. The leopard kept following its way in a more rock and rebellious spirit at the end of the 20th century.
A classic of the women's wardrobe but also of furnishing textiles available here on wallpaper in three colors, Coral, Blue and Banana Yellow, bringing a retro and subtly casual touch.
